Jeremiah 29:11

When the Bible declares for us to "lean not on our own understanding" but in all our ways we are to acknowledge God, (Proverbs 3:5-6) I don’t read in any of this, that we are to include anything else.

Jeremiah 29:11 says that He alone, God, knows the plans He has for us.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. -Jeremiah 29:11

There is nowhere else to turn for insight. Could we turn to another person? Perhaps, but we must rely solely on all that is found in the Word of God. All words line up with the truth.

If you’re seeking after a certain preacher, a certain writer, or another for your answers, may I encourage you to 100% all the time make sure that all your seeking starts, seeks, and ends with prayer and the word of God.

Every step acknowledges God's Divine plan for us. Where would we be without the Lord? Back onto a path that would only lead us away from Him. His ways. His desires. We must only seek Him; for to seek another love would be that of adultery. Rather, we are to seek the Lord with ALL our hearts, and He WILL be found.

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. -Jeremiah 29:13

Seek Him with ALL - with everything - not one part missing from your heart. He is so worthy of all our praise!

Lean not into understanding but lean softly into Him and hear His sweet whisper. Lavish love amidst the still silent treasured moments together.
